Just wanted to say thanks for having us along for the Birth Beat ride. We thought we’d share our birth story with you.

Our little boy, Clancy, surprised us by arriving early at 36 weeks 4 days, so it was a good thing that we’d used your suggested list and packed our hospital bag a few days prior! Bub certainly didn’t allow us any time to prepare – my waters broke and contractions started straight away at 10pm, and he was born just 3hrs later at 1am. We only just made it to the hospital in time! No time for any pain relief – we were going cold turkey on this one.

Thanks to your classes we knew exactly what was happening the whole time, even though it was all moving along a lot more quickly than we expected. Despite being very intense, we can confidently say we had a very positive birth experience and a large part of that was due to your excellent, down to earth course that took away much of the fear and apprehension. Bub arrived kicking and screaming and hasn’t looked back since.
